Ralph Vos
On-Ice Trainer / Director of Hockey Operations

Ralph Vos has been training kids in Abbotsford since 1995.Ralph has extensive experience playing hockey at the elite level, including Atom - Midget AAA here in Abbotsford. He has played for Team Pacificat the BC Best Ever program, won a silver medal at the BC winter Games, as well as 2 years playing Junior A in the BCHL ( Chilliwack ) and RMJHL ( Creston Valley ). In addition, Ralph was an assistant Coach with the Abbotsford Pilots (Jr.B) for 3 years, Regional Scout for the Chilliwack Chiefs (Jr.A) and a trainer for the Hockey Performance Abbotsford for the past 2 years. Ralph is currently in his 4th year as an instructor at the Yale Hockey Academy . Many of Ralph students are currently playing in the NCAA, WHL, BCHL, PIJHL.

 

 


 

Bernie Saywell
On-Ice trainer / Off Ice Trainer

Bernie played minor hockey in Edmonton and Winnipeg. Representing Edmonton as an
All-Star in the Bantam, Midget and Juvenile AAA Regional Championships. He was a recipient of a scholarship to Michigan University. Bernie graduated from the University of Victoria. He has been a trainer in Hockey Performance Centre with Dusan Benicky for 8 years and operated the Hockey Performance Centre Abbotsford for 5 years. He is currently very active in the comunitity as President for MSA Ford, President of Hockey Performance Centre Abbotsford, Chairman of the Abbotsford Trail Committee and Director of the Abbotsford Training Rink.








Todd Geddes
On-Ice Instructor

Todd has been involved in hockey since the age of six; playing (all levels including Jr. A), reffing and coaching. Coaching for 17 years; Assistant coach for the Abbotsford Pilots for nine years and head coach for various teams Abbotsford and Mission Minor Hockey teams for initiation, house and rep at all levels.  Certified Skate Canada Power Skating Instructor. Specialty Course Conductor and Mentor Coach for BC Amateur/Hockey Canada.  NCCP Course Conductor for BC Amateur/Hockey Canada. Certified in First Aid.

 

 


 

Brandon Regier
On Ice/Off Ice Trainer
Brandon Regier has been around hockey his whole life, growing up with three older brothers who all played hockey. Brandon has been playing since the age of 4 and always played the highest level of rep hockey in the Abbotsford Minor Hockey Association. He made the BC U-16 Best Ever team for the Fraser Valley. In his Bantam year playing AAA, Brandon had been drafted to the Manitoba Wheat Kings in the 1st round, 17th overall. After being drafted, Brandon played his next season for the Fraser Valley Bruins in the MML. During that season he had played 4 games in the WHL as a 15 year-old. As the Wheat Kings expected Brandon to move to Manitoba…Brandon has chosen to stay and play locally and teach as an on-ice/off-ice instructor at Abbotsford Training Rink/Hockey Performance Centre.

 

David Kilduff
Business Consultant / Goalie Trainer
David was a goaltender who played his minor hockey in the Penticton Minor Hockey
Association. He went on to play 2 years of Jr. B hockey in Invermere with the Columbia Valley Rockies where he won a Western Canadian Championship and was named All-Tournament Goaltender. He then played 2 years of Jr. A in the BCHL for the Penticton Panthers and Merritt Centennials where he was named to the All-Star team and voted team MVP. David grabbed attention his final year of Jr. A and earned a full scholarship to the University of Massachusetts in the powerful Division 1 NCAA league Hockey East. David excelled both on and off the ice at UMass. He eventually earned a degree in Communications and minored in Psychology. David now focuses his attention to teaching young hockey players. He has an extensive coaching and teaching background. He started teaching kids when he was 15 years old at the Okanagan Hockey School. After his playing days David was named Head Instructor at the Long Island Skating Academy in Syosset, NY. He then became the Assistant Hockey Director at the Westchester Skating Academy in Elmsford,NY and eventually was named Hockey Director at the Miami Ice Arena in North Miami Beach, Fl.

 

Spencer Lockhart
Off-Ice Trainer

Spencer played at a high level of rep hockey in the Abbotsford Minor Hockey Association from Atom AAA  to Midget AAA. He was draft pick of the Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League and planned to play for them until a knee injury shattered those hopes. Spencer continues to participate in hockey as a referee and a lineman. He is currently studying Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley.

 

 


 

Jordan Emmerson
On Ice/Off Ice Trainer

Jordan grew up playing with the Abbotsford Minor Hockey Association until the age of sixteen. After minor hockey he played one year in Jr.B with the Delta Ice Hawks in the PIJHL. He then went to play Jr. A for four years in the BCHL association, where he received a scholarship to the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. He played in the CCHA of NCAA division one hockey while attending the university. While studying at Alaska Jordan received two degrees, A B.A in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Jordan is continuing his passion for hockey and development while now attending UCFV for a degree in Kinesiology. From a young age he has coached and help hockey schools and teams, he previously was the associate instructor with the Pacific Titan Hockey Development Program. Jordan has worked with numerous influential trainers including Alex McKechnie, Rick Celebrini, Peter Glover and Mike Curtain (head of strength and conditioning with the U of Alaska.)  

 


 

Mitch Saywell
Off Ice Trainer

Mitch has been a instructor for Hockey Performance Centre for 9 years (certified under Dusan Benicky for 12 years). In addition to the video analysis Skatemill training Mitch is the lead instructor for HPC's TRX training system. Mitch has certifications as a Fitness BCRPA personal instructor, he also has his Lifesaver Certification. Currently he is a student at UCFV working towards a Kinesology Degree.
